I think people have bricks because they have wiped system when moving from MM EU ROM to Nougat EU ROM. For some reason that causes bricks. But when going to Lineage, you really should make system wipe. Coming back to EU I would first flash 6.11.10 and then without system wipe to Nougat EU ROM.

Yes, you NEED to do full wipe when moving to lineage official nightly. So cache/data/system/dalvik. This is not a rule for every ROM but for lineageos 14.1 official. You can find full instructions on XDA's thread for Mi5's LineageOS.

Maybe you can flash another ROM via MiFlash? I would suggest global dev 6.11.10 and see if it works after that. Flash all.

MiFlash is quite good, fast and safe way. I'm not sure how recovery install works when moving to official MIUI...

But they advice not to wipe system before flashing nougat eu rom. So wipe as you said, flash 6.11.10. After that wipe data/cache/dalvik and flash nougat eu rom. People are telling about bricks if they've wiped system before nougat eu.

That is normal with nougat roms. It's ok. But for the OP problem, I also suggest latest official TWRP 3.0.2-3. Then describe your problem little more if it's not working. What kind of error are you having?

FC after download seems to be common MIUI bug. Same with google app, launcher3 - FC every time you try to use it. But they claim it is fixed in lastest weekly build, so you can try it out! I haven't tested it though.

Which rom have you now? And twrp version is latest, 3.0.2-3? What is the error? Little more information, please.

Well, I think most stable eu rom is 8.1.6.0 is marshmallow rom. I used also 8.1.7.0 and was quite happy but if you prefer stability, i recommend to choose still marshmallow. Link: xiaomi.eu_multi_MI5_V8.1.6.0.MAACNDI_v8-6.0.zip

After that fastboot boot recovery.img, wipe data, cache, dalvik and install rom and reboot!

graw2 just answered you. Google app crash is a known issue. Launcher 3 is same as Google app. So every time you make a search, it crashes.

Is it bad thing to wipe cache AND dalvik after flash? Did that with other custom roms but now i did just dirty flash without wiping.

Mi5. Have been using this for two hours and phone has lost connection to SIM card two times. That didn't happen with last build. Otherwise ROM seems to be working fine. Google app haven't been fixed but that can take time...
