Disabling Lockscreen Enable On Fingerprint Scanner Touch

I have a Redmi Note 4 running the latest xiaomi.eu ROM. I would like to disable automatic display enabling when I touch the fingerprint scanner, since I often touch it accidentally when placing my phone in my pocket. Is that possible?
