Poco F2 Pro Official MIUI EU

I just got my Poco F2 Pro and it already has the official EU rom on it, can I still install the Xiaomi.eu rom on it? Is there much difference between the 2? Edit: Forgot to say that I've gotta wait a week to unlock the bootloader.

Pad 4 was supposed to get MIUI 12, but now it got delisted?

I'm kinda curious as to where those sources got their info as I thought Xiaomi had yet again given up on tablets as there's been no beta Miui 11 ROM for ages.

    Invalid Dark Mode switches itself

Could it be something to do with moving the dark mode option to dev settings? I had dark mode set to on when I flashed the build that moved the option to dev settings so could something funky be happening there?

    Invalid Dark Mode switches itself

This is happening on my Mi8 on 9.3.1 (and the past few builds) too, no matter how many times I turn off dark mode it turns back on again a short while later.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 to be launched in China on the 25th June 2018...

I'm still a bit annoyed about the Mi Pad 3, bought one because of the roms being made here and 2 weeks later they stopped! Hopefully the Mi Pad 4 is a bit more popular, it should be looking at the specs and prices!

Is The Mi Pad 3 Is Still Being Updated?

The Miui.it rom only adds Italian to the China dev rom so no Spanish Here's a screenshot of the languages for anyone interested

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

There's a Magisk module called 'Universal Safetynet fix' that's for Miui and other custom roms like this which fixes this problem.

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

Here's a screenshot of the language screen, but I'm fairly sure none of those are Dutch. The Netflix downloading function works fine, although I don't know if that's because I downloaded module called 'Universal Safetynet fix' in Magisk or not

Is The Mi Pad 3 Is Still Being Updated?

I've just switched to miui.it ROM, it's only got a few languages though (Italian, English, Chinese, a few others I don't know)

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

The miui.it ROM seems pretty good after using it all afternoon and evening, did a clean install to get rid of the Open Gapps stuff and just used the Google play that comes with the rom.

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

The best I could get it was Google Play Services would fc every couple of minutes and Google Play itself would get stuck on thinking I was logged out of Google when I wasn't. There's probably just some tiny part of Miui 9 for the Mi Pad 3 that's conflicting with Gapps, but I have no idea what it...

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

I've been messing around with the China Dev rom, but couldn't find a gapps that worked properly with it. I tried the backup from the official forum and a newer backup from Tech Tablets, but they both had problems.

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

The miui.it ROM seems to work a little better than the China Dev rom, but still has the same issues with Gmail and Safety Check. Don't mind too much about Safety Check not passing, but I can't really do without Gmail.

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

So I tried flashing the latest China dev rom (which seems to be only 7.9.8 atm) over the EU one and it works pretty ok, but Open Gapps doesn't work very well, with Google force closing every couple of minutes and gmail wont open. Tried messing around with permissions (some of the gapps don't...

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

As far as I can tell it's a DRM scheme that Google made, not entirely sure what actually uses it though or how needed it is.

Moving From Eu Dev Rom To China Dev Rom

So for those of us who like to keep things updated (only way to get those security patches) how easy is it to switch roms? Can I just flash the Chinese 7.9.14 rom over the EU 7.9.7, and then just flash Opengapps and Magisk?

Is The Mi Pad 3 Is Still Being Updated?

English and Chinese only, and with a bunch of Chinese apps that we can't even use wasting space and memory.

Is The Mi Pad 3 Is Still Being Updated?

Damn, I was hoping I was wrong, only bought this tablet a month ago because I thought it was going to be getting regular non-chinese updates for awhile.

Is The Mi Pad 3 Is Still Being Updated?

As far as I understand it the EoL thing has nothing to do with the bootloader and means that Xiaomi.eu are no longer their improve versions of the China dev ROM.

    Otg Problem

Welp figured out what the problem is, the rom only seems to fat32 for external drives, meaning that any drives bigger than 32gb won't work and my drive is 64gb... Hopefully miui 9 will support bigger drives? Edit: oh wait I always thought there was a 32gb limit on fat32, guess I was wrong.
