Hi, a general question, why user do not use the MIUI Updater? I use it since several month without any problems on my Redmi Pro 3 Omega. For the latest update from MIUI 9 to 10 I had to download *.zip manually and update from download directory. No problems and I keep all my data and settings...

Hi, I download the .zip file and open menu (3 dots upper right) "Install from SD card", change to internal memory/Download folder and select .zip file. > Confirm. Device start in TWRP mode and install automaticly. No files are deleted. Restart need a few minutes, ready. Cheers, mib

Hi, updating from MIUI 9.6 8.5.24 with Updater and downloaded .zip work without problems. Mobile: Redmi Pro 3/Omega First tests are fine, Camera, Playstore are working. Seams faster than 9.6. Thank you team! Cheers, mib

Hi, just report for Redmi 3 HMPro, all work fine and it seams the auto focus is much better now. I do not use the camera often so that´s possibly subjective. For the last 3-4 updates the Miui updater was used without problems Can I ever hope to get an update to Android 7 or 8? It is still 6.0 :/...

Hi, there is no official global version for Redmi Pro but you can use this ROM. It seams there is Arabic language included. Cheers, mib
