    8.3.1

*no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* HDR stopped working on my Mi6. Stock camera works for photos but hangs when switching to video. Camera2 API is enabled. Something's clearly not right with this build.

    8.2.1

There are definitely two current branches of MIUI: 8.x and 9.x. 9.x being supposedly the latest, seeing as how next in line is MIUI 10.x (https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/02/08/miui-10-updates-eligible-devices-list-leaked-find-xiaomi-phones-wont-get-miui-x/). What's the year's got to do with...

    8.2.1

On an entirely another hand, the question I've been unable to find the answer to. Why is the supposedly unstable, weekly release is based on MIUI 8.x while them stable releases are 9.x? I mean, for all intents and purposes it should be the other way around, shouldn't it?

    8.2.1

And that's why I explicitly mentioned Google. They already got all they can from me, as a GMail user since the beta stage in the early 2000's. I don't much care since I don't do sensitive stuff on Googe services, be it Gmail or anything else, but that's weering into the wrong direction, namely...

    8.2.1

Why would anyone use Mi Browser is still beyond me. At least those caught in the Google ecosystem. Chrome imports your passwords, browsing history and all. Wish we had a proper dialer instead, like Google Phone, inistead it doesn't save call history even on weekly Oreo builds.

    8.2.1

I was kinda hoping that Google Phone's call history would magically appear once Xiaomi.eu switches to Oreo. That is absolutely not the case. Any workarounds, except using a different dialer?

    8.1.11 V2

Speaking of charging, 8.0 vs 7.1.1. Stock charger in both cases. Same phone.

    8.1.11 V2

Didn't think of that, rolled back to 7.1.1 to be on the safe side. To those who consider the same path, be wary that dirty flashing 7.1.1 over 8.0 doesn't work; at least it didn't in my situation. Had to wipe the device clean and painfully restore everything manually. Will probably give it...

    8.1.11 V2

Can confirm the 0.4-0.5A (according to Ampere) claims with stock charger. That is definitely an issue. Definitely thinking about rolling back to 7.1.1 stable.

Weird Issue With Both Previous And Current Stable Roms

If you tap on the left part of the screen while the device is locked, this comes up: https://i.imgur.com/fAFVnRU.png Is that a bug/feature in my theme or something else entirely?

    8.1.4

Getting a FC while trying to take a screenshot and send/edit it. Google Phone doesn't register call history. Apart from that, didn't experience anything of note. Waiting for that long-promised Oreo build. Edit: One more thing. If you tap on the left part of the screen while the device is...

    8.1.4

Didn't get the latest Mi6 stable; had to download and flash manually with TWRP.

    8.1.4

    Nope, Magisk.

    8.1.4

Xposed soft-bricks Mi6 with the newest 9.2.3.0. Step 1: Install Xposed via TWRP. Step 2: Reboot, get permanent loading screen. Had to reflash the ROM from TWRP which thankfully worked. Anyone else can confirm?

    Screenshots Suddently Stop Working

Screenshot stopped working altogether. The built-in, in the upper hand of the phone, with all the widgets. I take a screenshot, it allows me to Send/Edit or Delete it. Both Send and End end up with with the Xiaomi dialogue "System UI has stopped". "View summary" is unavailable either. So it's...

9.0.5.0 Stable Offers To Update Despite Being The Latest Version

Does indeed work: "You already up to date!". I'm not an English major, obviously, but shouldn't that be "You're already up to date"? Not a jab at devs, by all means, it just stands out. Thanks. On another note, is there a schedule for stable OTA's? Like are we talking 2 months or 1 year...

9.0.5.0 Stable Offers To Update Despite Being The Latest Version

Can confirm: started crashing for me too. "Updater keeps stopping". Pressed "Report" for whatever good it's going to do.

9.0.5.0 Stable Offers To Update Despite Being The Latest Version

That's exactly how I went about it: wiped the device, downloaded the file you linked off sourceforge, installed it with TWRP. Zero issues apart from that one.

9.0.5.0 Stable Offers To Update Despite Being The Latest Version

Basically I go to Settings - > My Device -> MIUI version and press "Check". It instantly offers a 1.2GB Download of the very same 9.0.5.0 I have installed on my Mi 6. Is OTA broken? Is it even supposed to work? Currently instaled : MIUI 9 | V9.0.5.0.NCACNEI | (stable) Thanks.
