    After you unlock the bootloader you can install other roms but I don't know to which roms you can upgrade so I am waiting for the answer aswell.

    Here is a guide http://xiaomitips.com/guide/unlock-mi-4c-bootloader-without-official-permission/ , start from stage 4. And the miflash that worked for me is MiFlash20150601. Good luck.

    Hey. I had the same problem. a link to a guide has been posted just few comments up. you need to flash dev build with miflash. For me only an old miflash version worked. Good luck

    I will flash it now. and after what should I do? keep flashing the roms you gave or first flash twrp 3.1.1? Edit: The phone is on 6.12.22. What's next? flashing the next rom or flashing other TWRP?
