I've worked on Customer Support for many years managed a few people responding to forums and e-mail support and have received many "slanderings" as you say, even threats ... I didn't throw a fit about it. People are stupid and always will be. Even responding to provocation is giving "air time"...

Giving in to stupid people is offering them the trophy on a silver platter ... while punishing us the Customer/User. We'll just have to go somewhere else to get updates on a process that was started here, which I think is unfortunate and undeserving of the work you've done.
