My Mi Mix 2s have also only L3 and this app working ok, so this is not L1 limitation as for netflix. In attachment DRM info of yoga2 (app not working and is not visible in google play when searching) and mix 2s (app working ok) . Personally I don't see any differences other than SDK version...
