    Doubt about Mi 8 update via OTA

    hi all I haven't updated mi MI8 for a long, since 8.8.30 with Android 8. I saw that version 8.11.29 is available in my phone via OTA. Is it safe to update from the updater or i have to wipe data and make a clean instalation for this ROM? Can someone help me? thanks in advance
