    I managed to get it to work (apparently it does change some important files in the rom, so it may be worth waiting for the next release) I didn't use the most recent one, so try the one before.

    Any update on this? I've tried modding the launcher2.apk file and it hasn't worked :D (not that I really know what I'm doing, just trying to follow tutorials)

    I use this and it works great. Just hide your apps in the settings menu (menu> settings> access control) Then use alternate app drawer, for me it allows me to keep the miui launcher and use the folders, then have the app drawer and a clean work space :)
