This trick worked on my desire, pull the battery out and hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Give it a go, I almost had a fit when I almost bricked my Desire.

After installing 1.6.17 I noticed there was an app, in Chinese, anybody know what it is or whatit does? Sent from my Desire.
