I'm currently on the same boat with a mi a2 lite, but the bootloader is blocked.

Try unpair your band then wipe old files, cache from mi fit and your phone and reinstall mi fit. Btw lastest updates are not so okay.

Try to wipe cache from the mi fit app, desync your band and uninstall mi fit app, also clean your phone with that green shield of MI.
