OTA-Updater behaviour as referred to in the guide

ola, just a quick question: it sais here under "Downloading and installing MIUI via OTA Updater" under point 4 that the "update will automatically download, install, and reboot.". Mine does download automatically, but after rebooting into recovery mode I have browse for the downloaded...

Recommended-Tab under messaging

Hi there, Since OTA-Updating earlier today (at least I haven't seen it before) I've got a tab titled "Recommended" in my messaging-menu: when I click it, it offers me lot of things to select, all in chinese with numbers and more chinese text when I click one of them. Whats that about?
