Hi there Mark, I'm just a bit curious: Is there a dual boot option for both stock google and Miui? I thought i read that somewhere. Second: does the device have limitations in the google play store, as in device not supported? Thanks in advance and for the review! Looking forward to the video.

Maybe a memory problem? It's still based on android 4.0.3. A lot of problems were resolved with version 4.0.4. Does anynone know if Miui is going to upgrade to 4.0.4? It's more stable (and widely available).

This does actually help a bit. But it's still not very smooth. I'm on build 2.9.21. I filled this in the build.prop file.

The lockscreen feels slow. It lags a bit.

It does update for me (sgs2, miui 2.5.4), but just after some time.

10) Another problem that i had, was that apps installed on the internal sd card, weren't loaded after a reboot. This didn't happen in the beginning, but after some time. I now have a neak kernel installed and all works wel. Feels a bit more responsive too.

I get some dots (not on the lockscreen), but i can't edit the notifications. It doesn't even remember the setting if a turn it off for showing all notifications.

That's normal behaviour. Everytime you open your market for the first time, it begins to download the latest version and then automatically updates itself in the background.

Just an update: the problem is not solved with 2.5.4 on SGS2. I thought i read somewhere on this forum that there's an updated version of the market in the rom.

So, why is this release android 4.0.3 again? Version 2.4.20 was android 4.0.4? #sgs2

What strange was, I did a dalvik and cache wipe before installing the update 4.20 and the play store was still there. I never had that with an update. But now with every restart the old market keeps returning. I will try it later with a wipe of the market cache. See what happens then.

So if Google apps are still being stuffed in the build, can we get Google gallery? It syncs with Picasa and looks / works better than the standard miui gallery.

I can see the application Google gallery installed on my device. I can run it (via titanium backup) or can choose it as a option when going to -> wallpaper -> desktop wallpaper -> others -> gallery. I got 2 options for gallery (both with the same name). One is the Miui gallery, the other the...

Hi, A few more things: 1) I can see in my sync settings "Google Photos" turned on, but the gallery doesn't show them. 2) There's a 1 mb limit check, it keeps telling me to turn my wi-fi on. Almost al files in the android mark has a wi-fi sign. Shouldn't this be something like 15 mb or...

Hi! I still have a Chinese text when it warns me that my battery is low (red text). When charging the battery the text is in English. Thanks for those fixes. It really looks great! Btw: my phone is SGS2, Miui 2.3.16 ICS.
