HI does anyone here know if the Ubuntu ROM is compatible with this phone? I currently have the latest MIUI UK ROM on both system 1 and system 2. Are there any other ROMS that I can install that wont mess up the apps ? Regards

Use igag rather, it works perfectly and has exactly the same content as original, maybe even a little bit better interface. Had the same problem too :)

Hi there, I've just bought a Xiaomi MI2s and have tried to install the barclays banking app. It asks at some stage during registration for root permissions which I give it and once I do that the app says that it will not work on a rooted phone. Does anyone know how to get around this? Regards

Thanks, so am I correct in thinking that to do the initial install of the unofficial UK ROM, does not require me to root the device? Ill probably install it to system 2. I dont want root as a few apps I would like to use will not work on a rooted device. (Barclay's Banking app)
