Hi, 5.5.7 is indeed for stock layout and is relatively bug-free. I'm using it as daily ROM since it was released. It's definitely worth trying.

it's because that's all for now... however, let's not get fooled by google: Android 6 is actually only a minor update, like from android 5 to android 5.1. It doesn't include any changes that could justify the introduction of a new version. So, imho if you are currently on a stable lollipop rom...

Although I haven't read any negative feedback here about the ROM you are on, I assure you that GravityBox offers me almost the same customization options as cm12.1 without the slightest side-effect. So, from this aspect, you can give AOSP 5.1.1 [5.5.7] a try to see if your problems disappear...

You don´t mention the most important feature: which ROM you are on. This is not only your fault. The thread has become very difficult to follow, because it is about various ROMs and users tend to discuss their own problems without mentioning the specific ROM they use, as if it was all the same...

Although I haven't used Ivan's last build [2015-05-04] I would say it's exactly the same, deprived of any third party (chinese) stuff.
