FYI, here is the bug report thread we are trying to build up so that someone from Xiaomi will notice our random rebooting issue. It's referring to the new v6 MIUI BETA ROM but this issue has been going on for a long time and even with these AOSP ROMS. http://en.miui.com/thread-108042-1-1.html

You are not the only one with this issue, it's been annoying me and others for quite some time. So far there has been ZERO help from anyone from Xiaomi or anywhere else about a fix. Here is the bug report where you can also confirm the matter and hopefully someone will notice it...

Have you found a version of OmniROM, or any other ROM which doesn't randomly reboot? I haven't yet.

Download link doesn't work, can someone host this ROM zip someplace else? I'd like to try it, but I cannot help but think it will have the same random reboot issue as mostly all other ROM's on the Mi2A.

I have the Mi2A. Has this ROM addressed the random reboot issue which plaques this model? Stock v5 is the only ROM which seems stable. I want to upgrade to V6.

Seems this Mi2A I/we have sure is an odd model. Besides having not much interest here, there doesn't appear to be much of a clear focus upon discovering why most ROM's run fine for a few hours or even days then all of a sudden decide to fade to black then reboot. This happens with any AOSP ROM...

Having random reboots with my Mi2A running latest 5.4.17. Phone would freeze for a few seconds then fade out then reboot. I have installed this version as per the instructions on the OP. Come to think of it, the same thing happens if I flash an AOSP image.. very disappointing after setting it...

Ah okay, I overlooked that part regarding the Mi2A. I flashed that specified image, then allowed the upgrade to 5.4.17, but there is no google play store. Should I download the 5.4.17 package and flash over top now?

I just flashed 5.4.17 on my Mi2A and the WiFi setting is stuck at "Turning WLAN on...", I cannot toggle the switch. Is this a known issue? Everything else seems to be working good.

Maybe search Youtube for a video, someone has probably done this before. I also need to replace my screen.

I'm trying this out as well. It's very fast, and so far I have also had just one black screen. Any more though, and I will switch back to the CM 10.2 I found.

The only issue I can see so far after 3 full days is a small delay after pressing the power button. Nothing I am concerned about.
