New Starbucks app text getting garbled

Anyone facing the following issue? Launched Starbucks app (1.png) When going to the "rewards" screen, the text becomes garbled (2.png). Once garbled, it stays the same across other screens in the app (3.png). Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) MIUI version: 3.9.6
