Unfortunately this phone has no custom roms yet! I am not satisfied with the original firmware, I would love the idea of running MIUI rom on this. I hope the developers can make my wish come true one day :(

Oddly enough, it is the same problem...

So it finally was able to boot up. But the main problem now is that I can't unlock the screen anymore. I get the installation wizard for a 3-4 seconds, before I can even click on a language, the lock screen appears and then it's impossible to unlock the screen.. I reboot the phone, same issue...

Hi, first of all thanks for the great work. Awhile back you edited the MIUI Multilang 3.10.25 ROM (topic: http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-multi-lang-3-10-25.22498/page-2) for me and so far that was the only ROM that works fine for me (and doesn't have messed up images with menus)...

First time booting makes me unable to unlock the screen. I can move around the cursor but the screen cannot be unlocked... Lenovo S820

Tried it a couple of times but no success. Even when the set-up wizard after a factory reset appears, I still get that weird X image on some buttons...

I changed themes multiple times and switching back and forth to the default, but it still hasn't restored properly.. :(

Ever since 3.10.25 I keep getting this messed up design. It's with some other menus as well. What can be the problem? Is it something I can fix on my phone itself or is it purely because of the ROM?

Looking forward to it! Thanks so much. Also, I noticed GPS doesn't work at all with MIUI Rom. He can't catch any satellite and I tried GPS Fix apps and even Uncle Tools to increase GPS signal.. but nothing... is this common? I know GPS usually doesn't work right away at MTK6589 chipsets.. any...

Yes. That is the only one that works and doesn't give me a bootloop. But any multilang rom gives me a bootloop. Could it be because of low memory? I have a Lenovo S820 which only has 4GB internal memory. Could the multilang rom be too big?

Is it possible to install the languages on an English-only rom? I can't get it to boot with the multilang ROM, but I have no problem with the English-only rom. Is it possible to flash just the languages?

It seems so. I got it to work for once with the English only release. Then tried to flash over it and again wiping everything and clearing cache. But again, the bootloop... is there any chance to get it to work? If the phone was for myself then I would have no problem with the English-only...

This is the first time I am installing this ROM. So it's the only release I have used so far. I am trying to restore it to original rom and then will try again to flash it. How long does the boot-up usually take when installing a new rom? I know sometimes it can take 5 minutes until everything...

Installed through CWM on my Lenovo S820. Then I reboot it and then it gets stuck at the boot screen. I wiped data/cache and factory reset it so many times, but nothing makes it get past the boot screen... how can I solve this?
