Hey I have had this problem in the past and have found a couple of solutions. First is to go into your system-apps, and then select the google play market app and force stop, then clear the cache. Reboot phone and give that a shot. It worked for me so I hope it will work for you.

yeah the camera might have gone. but why would it put miui in a boot loop while CM7 works fine minus the camera. I don't know its strange.
