    I had the same problem which was solved by installing miphone manager - suppose not support the redrice but, in fact, perfectly support it and resolve the driver problem for me.

    I have two Hongmi (originals wcdma) since two weeks now and they have absolutely no problem with all Gapps. I use a MIUI-FRANCE translated rom based on the original 3.0/JB 4.2.2 MIUI rom. Have you flash the correct Gapps (4.1x vs. 4.2.x) ?
