It seems k20 pro on the latest beta the crash with ok Google is fixed. Could be because of the new Android version requiring different versions of gapps
What type of info or concrete evidence would you need?
I can pull logs and video comparison on eu rom vs global stable/China stable or dev with gapps.
Aside from the google issue the ROM is a lot better than what we currently have so I wouldn't mind helping out wherever to get this problem...
This issue doesn't exist on Chinese stable/Dev or global stable even with the google app installed and running. It only exists on xiaomi.eu. doesn't that mean it's something on your side and not on Google's side?
Clear data of Google app (velvet) and you can play videos and music fine. Problem comes from Google now.
Xiaomi.eu team says they know this issue but it's not part of the known issues when I reproted it

Same thing on my k20 pro. I know it's to pass safety net but using the stable ROM fingerprints will pass safety net too.

You dont need to flash misc.bin.
misc.bin just modifies your boot to boot twrp instead of miui on fastboot reboot. You can just do fastboot boot twrp.img
Its chinese and English. Default to chinese.
The entire phone crashes when music playback happens during video. This only happens after setting up your Google account through setup.
100% reproducible by downloading YouTube and playing a video.
Extra info. The crash only happens after activating Google assistant. If you clear data of...
There's good notification QoL changes as well. Quick reply in notification shade. Hold to expand notifications. FB messenger won't display heads up notifications while chat head is active. Discord notifications are fixed.
The recents will need some time to get used to though
I came from cm14.1 on Mi5(Gemini)
Flashed the latest twrp 3.2.0.3 and the rom after wiping. Now the device doesn't turn on and doesn't get recognized by my pc. Faastboot or Recovery doesn't work as well. Any ideas on what I can do?
If you can boot into recovery and it is the original miui recovery (orange text stock 3e recovery) you can flash the official ROM or the multi language ROM. Just remember to wipe data
that's an official ROM. what I meant by custom Roms are the ones the redmi has. such as stock android. vivo funtouch os. vibe ui. and stuff. however the 1s is notably faster. but I've seen what kitkat can do for mtk processors.

First you need to get a custom recovery from the thread in the stickies of this sub forum. Then download this and flash it in recovery
