Hi, I'm on Poco F3 with MIUI GLOBAL 12.5.6.0 STABILE (RKHEUXM), can I flash the rom MIUI 12.6 21.11.3 with guide of first post?

ROMs for devices with locked bootloader:
  • Unlock your first bootloader here http://en.miui.com/unlock/
  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
  • Code:
    fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
    fastboot boot twrp.img
  • TWRP Recovery TWRP or TWRP.ME
  • FORMAT /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
  • Copy our ROM to the internal storage
  • Install our ROM
  • Reboot
  • done
Installation via TWRP:
- Download zip to internal storage
- Updater - Menu (...) - Reboot to Recovery
- Install - Select zip
- Reboot
- Done

Because I have downloaded the package but it reads "fastboot" while on other roms on different devices it does not.

Thanks.

    fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
    fastboot boot twrp.img

Gracias.
Where it says install twrp by fastboot, then directly the ROM. For android 12 twrp is not valid so at the moment you can not install it. If you want to install it, you install it as it says and then the ROM by fastboot.

As there will be no more weekly updates from the end of November for my K20Pro (Raphael), I'm considering moving to stable from this weekly.
Can someone tell me:
1. Is it worthy to try dirty flash?
2. In case I have to format the data partition, should I remove the encryption and password first? If so, is there any decent procedure/guide?
3. Any other suggestions from more experienced users?

cheers,

Poco F3 here, the latest update fixed most of the bugs, too bad the gestures still not working with third party launchers, everyone knows the best solution for this ? And the apps native notification sound replaced with xiaomi's sound is horible.

How? Settings >Apps > Manage Apps > Reset APP Preferences? It does nothing... doesn't even reset the apps permissions...
Settings > apps > manage apps > 3 dots in the upper right corner > show system apps > search for permissions > delete app data

REDMI k40, updated from stable rom to weekly rom,
It will still restart automatically. Occasionally enter recovery mode
It will also prompt the rights management service to stop running

Thanks for the feedback, did u come from a clean install ??
I made a dirty flash from A11 as i didn't want to have to reconfigure the whole phone
I also did a dirty flash. I don't have all the issues like brave and camera not working for example

cheers,
1. You can't dirty flash, otherwise you'll end up in a bootloop. Going from weekly to stable, you need to format data (as it is stated in the stable ROM thread)
2. Make a backup first. I don't think you need the password to format in TWRP.

There are few things that don't work for me on A12. Known bugs or do i have to give manually some permissions?

1. Password AutoFill don't work in Apps. Only works in Chrome.

2. Telegram don't let me send Files, Fotos etc. Only Chat

Yeah you are not alone, something is wrong with the way Media is handled... Can you check if your VLC or any other App that handles Media other than the System apps work? VLC for example gives me Audio but no Video Output. Various other apps just freeze or crash. Some work if I click wait during the freezes

Hi,
Thanks for the update!

As a DaVinci user i am a bit concerned... Does DaVinci won't get Android 12?!

Can i just flash the Stable over this update? Do i have to format data? Its so sad to leave the weeklys :(

Forum rules are for everybody unsatisfied participant as well!
Sorry I don’t understand. Maybe you read me wrong. I absolutly not critisizing xiaomi.eu. They have nothing to do with that, and these devs are the only reason why I’m on Xiaomi. I’m just asking if someone have information about how long will Xiaomi will restrain the update, just to know If I have to sell my phone to buy the MI11.
If it’s against « the rule» , thx to show me wich one.

I advise to sell your Mi10T Pro before it cost nothing. Mi10 series is know for have a lot of Camera issues, have a bad support from Xiaomi.
So i think it's the good time for you to change your device for the Mi 11 (prices have really drop) or waiting for A12 for february/march 22

A lot of apps cannot compatible A12 for the moment, users must feedback problems to the apps owners.
I advise to using Evernote instead Kaspersky Password Manager, cross devices, free and not Russian ^^
This is exactly what I’m thiking. Thank you for the advice. I hope that the Mi11 will not suffer the problem in the futur

Hi, does Magisk work for you with this version? I have Mi 10T and I upgraded from the last version. Now root is not working neither with Magisk v22 nor with v23. Anyone else with the same problem?

If you dont use password, all data will be encrypted in TWRP

I updated just now and everything worked fine, thanks to the devs.
But is there an option to get rid of the google search bar at the bottom of the screen?

Honestly, I think you just need the install the stable ROM for your Mi 10T Pro. Weekly only exists thanks to the work of Xiaomi.eu, and current stable modules from Xiaomi are not compatible.

Just installed from Poco 3 global. Wow I didn't realise how problematic it would be to stop this crashing. Hardly any mention of this here. So chose format bat fastboot version. After selecting Google account to restore I couldn't complete install, after permissions error notification warning it crashed every time (about 6 times) and it kept rebooting to mi recovery. Decided to wipe data but still kept crashing. Finally after another 5 attempts and reboots it finally managed to complete install and I was able to wipe data in the permissions app. Seems stable now and hasn't crashed in 20 minutes. But wow some serious stability problems when setting this up for the first time!!!!

They haven't fixed the glitch for 4 months already
Mi 11 Lite 5G device
On Global everything is ok
Everything is ok on EU Stab
On CN Stab/Weekly everything is ok
And there is a bug on EU Weekly
When dark mode is enabled, any background where there is a black color sometimes turns into green stripes. Very noticeable in the dark... + Spots in the notification curtain
In the official firmware, all this has been fixed for a long time on both Global and Cn Stab/Weekly

why are they still releasing new beta ROM for Mi 9 when they don't add anything to it for over 3 months, they are just churning out same ROM every week till proper EOL...
