Storage problems are still there!
Clean flash, Mi 11 Ultra (star), attachments won't download, etc.

Will try the A11 method, but... be aware.

EDIT: The A11->A12 works.
I flashed an old Fastboot version of the .EU rom (12-5-2020), installed Gmail and Telegram, saw that storage works, upgraded to A12 Miui13 and viola.
I did face the Permissions crash and the proposed solution worked (had to access the app list, search for "permissions" and click the little link that displays all apps). Took me 4 attempts until I was fast enough.

Hi Munky, Im facing the same issue with the permission crash. Could you elaborate more on how to solve it?

Hi… try the safe mode and clear caches

Safe Mode (This is not the "Recovery mode" or the "Fastboot mode" )
In case your phone shows a lot of errors and you cant handle them because there are a lot of pop up windows or you want to deinstall something from magisk as example ... try the "safe mode" only some important standard apps will be loaded:

1. Power off your Android device and then power it on. You can also use the Reboot or Restart option.
2. You will see the Powered by Android logo and MI logo on the boot screen, If they disappear and the Screen ist black, press and hold the Volume Down key down so long till system ist loaded
3. The System will load and you will see a watermark... Safe mode
4. Deinstall the app with the error / analyze the root cause of the issue and so on ...
5. Reboot the phone to get off the "safe mode"
6. Perhaps after loading you have to disable AirPlane Mode

Hi Guys. I'll try again now. Maybe someone can help me . I can't flash any Rom except the CN stable. if I want to flash the MIUI 13 Rom I end up with the 21.11.11 version again? Why is that so. ? What does the mistake mean? I tried to do Format Data or erase metadata, but nothing worked.

mi11 clean flash all ok except:
1)gmail attachment (do you think that will be fix in the next release?)
2)Microsoft excel, world, powerpoint: at the first start i got an error like "unable to download linguage file" (i'm italian) and i have this app in english (no problems but is not correct)
3)this is not a bug of rom but i have this issue with miui in general. At every reboot, i find in my contact some carrier contact (credit, voice mail etc). this contact are read only. If i clean data of "com.android.provider.contacts." then they disappare but at next reboot i have them again. I remember, in the past, i solved this by unistall a package with adb (pm uninstal etc etc) but i dont remember which package. have you idea?

Yes, it is normal. MIUI search has been removed as an obsolete app.

Are more people having this problem on Mi 11 Pro? I just downloaded the rom but will wait to next version if it does not work. Did you update from a previus version or did you do a clean installation?

It's not a issue ! It's how A12 manage privacy permissions !
So, it will be there if the any app use camera or microphone ....and as long as it uses ! If you have biometric unlock of phone/screen you'll see't there and will disepear in few seconds !
I remember it was a solution to delete it , but you'll have to use search function , because I don't know in witch thread.

anyone knows why the automatic changing wallpapers in lock screen (Hintergrundkarussel) - always stops working, and when I open it in settings and close settings without change it begins working (changing pictures) again?

Is there some app that I could lock from energy savings?
