* Hybrid = can be installed with either Recovery or Fastboot

Requirements:

• Your device's bootloader must be unlocked.

Installing with TWRP: (ROM Type: Recovery)
(TWRP must be installed with Fastboot mode)

• Download Xiaomi.eu ROM zip file
• Reboot to TWRP
• If installing for the first time or downgrading: Wipe -> Format Data
• Copy the ROM zip file to the internal storage
• Install -> Select the ROM zip file
• Reboot to system
• Done!

Updating via Updater app: (ROM Type: Recovery)
(A Xiaomi.eu ROM and TWRP must already be installed on your device)

• Download Xiaomi.eu ROM zip file
• Copy the ROM zip file to the internal storage
• Updater -> Menu (...) -> Select update package
• Select the ROM zip file
• Confirm any dialogs
• Done!

Installing with Fastboot: (ROM Type: Fastboot)

• Download Xiaomi.eu ROM zip file
• Extract the ROM zip to a new folder
• Power off your device
• Boot your device in Fastboot mode (Hold volume down + power buttons)
• Connect to PC via USB cable
• Run one of the installation scripts (according to your PC operating system):
  - first_install_with_data_format - with data wipe, if you're flashing Xiaomi.eu ROM for the first time or downgrading.
  - update_rom - without data wipe, if you're updating from an older Xiaomi.eu ROM.
• Done!

Remember:
If you are going from MIUI 14 (or later) Weekly ROM to MIUI 14 Stable ROM, you are doing a downgrade, so format data is mandatory!

Due to the extremely low user base, weekly ROMs for the Xiaomi Civi (mona) have been discontinued by us.

Due to the discontinuation of China Beta ROM support, we will no longer provide weekly ROM updates for the following devices starting on April 21:
Redmi K40/POCO F3 (alioth), Redmi K40 Pro/Mi 11i (haydn), Mi 10S (thyme) and Mi 11 Lite 5G (renoir).

the new update for Xiaomi 12 is good and fluid but it has a bug that when I have the brightness on medium/low and when I go to unlock the phone or applications with the fingerprint the light and brightness of the screen starts to shake

Can developers advise if it is okay to upgrade from a much older Xiaomi.eu weekly like a MIUI 12.6 to 14 ? Without formatting data?

Or do I need to do a interim upgrade to MIUI 13 then 14 ?

Any other tips or precautions or prep work, like wiping cache and data of certain Apps (Launcher, Permission, Camera, etc)?

I was coming from MIUI 13 and did Not Format Data but i would recommend it when you are comming from 12

It's not entirely true. It may take 6 or more months for a stable ROM to reach the level that next month's weekly ROM will have.

No panic.
Poco F3 support will continue for at least another year for Stable ROM.
The release of the weekly ROM will only be cancelled. Some models never even have these weekly ROMs.

Since the first hybrid build for Poco F3 the update script isn't auto. After PIN inserted it's mandatory manually select the downloaded ROM File.
