New 3.12.20 MI-2S Default Apps

I have MX Player Pro and Chrome browser installed on my phone. If I opened a video/link in previous miui versions it would ask me which app it would open.. Since 2.12.13 That pop-up doesnt show up anymore... I also tried setting the default apps in settings/apps but that wont work either some videos are still opening in mivideo and some are in mx player.. same for chrome browser. Hope you can fix this Thanks in advance!

Workaround is to remove or disable stock browser (in this case you should install another like Chrome or Firefox). Then app picker will appear as it should
