Any way to encrypt the SD card?

Hi everyone,

Do you know if there is a way to encrypt SD card? I need to protect important data if my phone is stolen or lost.
The phone is well encrypted. I have a POCO X3 but I think the question concerns all MIUI based roms.

I think you have to format your SD Card as internal storage first... Then it should encrypt with the internal storage

I think you have to format your SD Card as internal storage first... Then it should encrypt with the internal storage

I tried and it doesn't work, the sd card is still readable on another device.

There is no "Encrypt SD Card" option and I think it's specific to MIUI 12 ROM.
