It seems that v5 is not stable on mi one, too many serious bugs (like hanging up instead of answering, not being able to hear or speak on certain conversations).

On the official site the stable version is v4, but I don't like having my phone speak half chinese half english... So I want the miuiandroid ROM, but in it's v4 state.

Anyone has it, and can upload it somewhere?
It's not available on this site anymore...

How is the performance of this ROM? I've downloaded it by never got to installing it. Is it worth downgrading from V5 to V4?

I dislike the V5 ROMS too, it's just too slow and buggy. Does anyone know what the best/most stable version would be to return to permanently?

Hey, you can download the latest official stable V4 rom here: http://en.miui.com/download-1.html. This link points to the miuiandroid release based on this stable rom: https://www.dropbox.com/s/50zz4tfpg8yqd8s/update_V4_stable_miuiandroid.zip .

If you try one of these roms, please share your experiences, I'm interested in the performance difference with the unstable V5 rom.

Good luck

When downgrading you should always do it through the recovery and wipe all data.

- Place the rom you want to flash in the root of your SD card, and rename it to update.zip, next power of your phone.
- reboot into recovery by pressing the power on and volume up button, hold the volume up button until you see the recovery menu.
- select english
- go to wipe&reset --> wipe all data (this will remove all apps and settings)
- install update.zip to system 1
- reboot and you should be in your new/clean rom.

good luck, more info on flashing can be found here: http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/xiaomi-guide-to-install-update-zip-and-brush-tool.17241/

if you like the older versions, i believe MIUI Australia still have some of the 2012 versions, like the 2.9.12 or something.

There is also a miuiandroid version of ICS24 (stable) here:

The question is even if you'll be back to miui v3? The features of the v5 is missing like micloud and sync of everything!!
Its not a good solution
