Hello to all and thanks for your contribution.
I've bought Aqara camera for the 180° field of view as an update to 1080 Smart Mijia.
Mijia is TOP but Aqara a deception.
Smart Mijia as plenty menu options and customizations. Aqara fails and it is not a Xiaomi update. Not for now. Maybe if Xiaomi releases new firmware thinking on new functions.
For now it's very poor.
Some things I don't like are:
- Poor WiFi percentage even beside router;
- Constant red lights at night;
- A round phantom also with night vision;
- The (all four) black borders generated in recorded video files;
Between others.
I'm searching your help for another problem:
With Mijia I get it to work and permanently recording even if the camera has no WiFi connection. I can disable the wireless connection and when I restore it, the recordings are ALL there.
The Aqara doesn't work like that.
Is it normal?
If i disable the WiFi camera stops recording and the Xiaomi so called Alarm function its fake/useless.
Can you please confirm?
Am I doing something wrong or it's meant to be as described?
