hi guys,

is anybody out there, got backed up rom images from smiu 7.5xx stable?
My phone gets after swiching to miu 8 massive battery drain, thats why i wanna go back to one of the last smiui 7 stable, because they was very smooth, stable and batterysaving!
sadly i got no backup from my smiui roms... can anybody here help please?

I have a 7.0.8 and a 7.1.3.
Let me know if you're interested.
I can tell you the exact options for 7.0.8 because I took a note.
For 7.1.3 they should be the same, but I'm not 100% sure.
These are the only version I've tested, then I went back to xiaomi.eu.
I think that you can get xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote2_V7.5.3.0.LHMCNDE_v7-5.0, there shouldn't be great differences.

sounds great!!! if possible i would take all two and share them with other versoins in a onlinearchive! i think there are more people which interested to swich back...how could we share it?

yes thanks, i will stay on stable! if xiaomi handles the miui 8 bugs (first of all the batterydrain) ill go back to miui globe.com stable "selfcooking" rom (previus smiui) its just for replacement until they fix this, but nobody knows how long this will take...

I'm trying to upload them on needrom.
I have a very low upload bandwith, so it will take some time.
I'll back back when they are ready.

To anyone who get sMIUI ROMs, please do not install them.

I'm starting to have some concerns about sMIUI ROMs...I've just read something on xda which is not reassuring at all.
So I've suspended both ROMs until someone could clarify.

ok i have read the treats you talk about... as far i can understand there was two files inside the rom zip which are malware ("api" and "apiget"), so i deleted them from the zip and installet the v7.1.3.0 Rom.
After install i looked in desired directory (system/bin) but the malware files was not there (so the deleting before install worked i think), after that i made a virusscan, result was clean and last thing, as the smiui website is no more online, there is noting left to call home... so i think installing the modified rom is ok, and yes, the rom still runs smooth and stable, as far i can see after some hours testing :)
thanks for sharing again!
One more thing, can somebody with knowledge confirm that the modified roms now ok?
If so, leave me a messeage, i will send you the files to research because i dont understand anything about this...

I was searching the reason why the work on sMIUI has been closed when I found the post on xda.
I'm really disappointed about that...thinking about all the people who trusted it...

As far as I can remember (I don't have the file at the moment) the script is calling at least another website.
Anyway, even removing it, the fact that sMIUI was a fraudulent ROM remains.
That's enough for me to even considering it from now on.

If in you, I would immediately install a xiaomi.eu ROM.
You should not exclude that other binaries have been corrupted and I'd not blindly trust antivirus.
One thing that could be done to start is to get the same version of an official china ROM and compare the content of the two zip files.

i was one of the trusters and hered thee yesterday about this things (i think in desired time i didnt update my rom, thats why i keept out of all this troble), and i'm very sad for sebsch as his whole work was destroyed from a bad stupid act.
i have read a bit in the script and must confess i dont have any plan from coding.
but what i can read in it it sounds very bad. it takes root ability over your device call different links on smiui website and try to destroy your imei as far i understand and dont know what i didnt understand...
however, for the moment my phone still runs with the modified rom and still works smooth and stable...
i think i will swich this weekend to last stable eu rom as you sayd...

I don't think that the story about John sebsch told is real.
IMO he knows exactly, if he's not the first responsible.

sounds good, but ill stay as close as possible to mi globe rom, so for the moment my choice will be last stable miui 7 from here...
