Hi,

on 2016-05-12 I purchased a Xiaomi Mi5 64GB black

So far I head few concerns.

But now I have a bigger problem, concerning the battery.
In the first weeks the battery drowned about 2-3% over night. (6-7h)
After a half year of use now these values increased to 12-14% per night.
But I got the same drwoning per day. Less use and shorter time od use.
There's more to it than that. The phone shuts off at 20% of battery capacity. And this night it drowned as if I was using it all night long => 0% in the morning...

I'm currently running on Xiaomi.eu Rom since one week (6.11.10)
Before that I run on the Global Developer, but I switched to the Xiaomi.eu because it said there were a better battery life, because it is based on the china dev instead.

So I tried changing the ROM and as well doing a factory reset with deleting everything. But nothing helped.

Please let me know quickly.

Any ideas instead of replacing the battery.

Bought at Honorbuy in May 2016

@Shorttrack,
I have worse battery case than yours. I have tried many roms and solutions but no cure no improvement even with Globe MPdecision mod..
I do not think you can cure it.
I may say battery life a little bit better with miui 7 eu versions..

I myself will try with a new battery as the last resort but, not yet received..

I Replaced the battery with a new one and the result is same..
Nothing cured.. That means xiaomi sometimes sucks...

I have been inquiring for finding out the solution for the last two months and there is no remaining software solution exist and I did not make use of...
I am fully convinced that this defect is 100% hardware related..
I have no possibılity to send service due to I am too far to China and not have near Local service having s.parts in stock...
