Camera Problem

Hello,
I'm using a redmi 4 Prime phone.
Android 6.0.1
MIUI Global 8.2.1.0

I don't know what's the problem. Exactly one week ago I took pictures of pages of a book and I could read the text. Now it looks like the camera won't focus on anything. However I do get a "beep" sound when I focus, and it pretends that the focus is fine, and that it's ready to take the picture while actually, it's all blurry. I don't think there's been any update, at least, not as far as I know. And I haven't dropped the phone either...
The background looks fine to me but If i wanna take a picture of a text, or of a more distant object (like my pet picture for example), it's all blurry.
I uploaded some example pictures. On the picture of the book, I had my camera focus on the book and as you can see, the background is almost sharper than the book itself...
I've tried rebooting the phone, resetting the camera's settings, clearing the cache and I've also tested other camera apps. But the problem is still here.
I think that my very first pictures with this phone had the exact same problem but then it fixed itself somehow (or maybe I learned how to use the camera app hahah) so it's not serious


Any suggestion?

You can manual focus by touching any area. Auto focus sometimes not working correctly due to light and other conditions. Use it manual.

I always use manual focus actually ... But unfortunately, the problem is the same. Even when I "select" the object I wanna focus on, even though the camera says the focus is set to that object, it still appears blurry...

Try playstore apps, like camera MX etc. If the result is same, you have hardware issue. Which means your lenses focus is not functioning. This is not be a software issue. If you have warranty, please give to the service centre.

Could be a camera module malfunction.

Weirdly enough, the problem got solved... for a few days at least...
I was able to take sharp pictures for a few days. But now it's blurry again! I don't understand what's happening :O
