The back camera does not support the camera2.api very well, apparently.
Not being a camera fanatic I have no idea what this means.

Xiaomi.eu weekly 8.3.26, I flashed the zip file from the Mi Max 2 thread here.

Visit https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi...port-for-this-app-on-this-forum*-mod-t3782495 for a fix.
Worked for me on OpenCam issue....

Verstuurd vanaf mijn Mi Note 2 met Tapatalk

Might try this.

Actually I use the Mi Camera app for daylight photos and videos, it works fine for that.

And I only use the *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* for lowlight photos, it works fine for that.

Never do anything more advanced, never do selfies, so I'm happy as it is.

Am on Xiaomi.eu weekly 8.5.24 now, still same result with the camera2.api test by the way.

Newer versions of *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* work better and better on my Mi Note 2.

With this one everything seems to work, including 60fps 4K video, except for slow motion and Lens, but they work in other apps.

Even "Motion" works, albeit only with certain settings, haven't figured it out yet.
