Doubts to update the version of rom xiaomi.eu Mi 10

Hello an excuse for my english, I'm spanish.

I have doubts to update the version of rom xiaomi.eu for xiaomi Mi10.

I have installed version 20.12.29 with TWRP and magisk and I have never updated. I wanted to update to the latest weekly version.

To update without losing my data, do I have to uninstall magisk first?, or can i leave it installed.

I have miui 12.5 and now it is 12.6 on the last, no problem for this?

And the last question, to update can I put the image in internal storage or does it have to be done from otg?

I would not like to make a brick, so I appreciate your help.

hi, my experience on flashing any cooked rom: do back up your data to a safe drive, example copy all your data, photos, music, etc... to a USB, or a memory card, or hard drive of your computer. Even updating new version of cooked rom doesn't require to reset phone data, but sometime flashing progress have problem and you might need to fastboot your device to fix it, and that will lose your data

Finally, after saving my data, I have updated to the latest weekly xiaomi.eu 21.7.21 with miui 12.6.

As a precaution, I uninstalled magisk, did the update, wipe Devilk / cache and reboot and turned on ok without losing anything.

Then I reinstalled magisk.
