New Dual apps can not access storage

Since android 11 update my dual apps can not access storage, its been several betas and the problem is still there.

I use a Mi 9t pro

Any solution? Thanks

To me it never worked (dual apps is like another profile).

When you press attachment>gallery, just press the 3 dots in the upper right of the screen and open the gallery from here.

That way you will be able to access all the files.

The same problem with my device Mi 10 Pro. But the dual apps can access storage in Mi 9, as well as Mi 10 Pro Stable (CN)

I have lost all of my dual apps media such as WhatsApp and messenger. I can see the folder in file explorer but can't access it. Has anyone figured out why the new MIUI update has done this? This sucks soooooo much.
