Hello there!
I`m looking for newest firmware for my Mi Box 3 Enhanced (CPU - MT8693 Dual Core Cortex-A72 + Quad Core Cortex-A53 64-bit 2.0GHz)
My box see upgrade to version 1.4.15 but when it installing in recoevery I have an error (I rooted my device and debloated it).
Maybe if I put firmware on USB and flash in recovery it will be good?

Can you help me?

@Gonzaman - did you try this on your Box?
This combination doesn`t work for me and I cannot get to recovery....

Of course, I try all kind of combination (back+menu, home+menu etc).

Install a terminal, and reboot recovery...
It works.
Then you must plug an usb keyboard, with chord or not, but remote dont work, so las option and donde, again to 1.4.10

Ive done many times

Well, I allways use re oot recovery from terminal, but yesterday I wipe all data and reboot... I forgot that I had deleted the launcher so I bricked my device.

The correct way to enter is disconecting everything from the box, usb/s and hdmi, pressing back and ok and plugging to wall, wait till it powers keeping buttons pressed and then connect the hdmi.

do we keep the buttons pressed while connecting to HDMI, or only until it power up/turn on?

Mediatek is better than Amlogic
Because you can flash stock ROM with mtk droid tool
But Amlogic is different
There's no any. Zip flashing tools

Yes, keep it until you see recovery...
Put the control over device, and pres buttons and hold the device with the same hand, with the other, plug power, wait for 10-20sec, then plug hdmi with your free hand (the same you plug power before...)

Once rooted never update the firmware it. After downloading and installing the new firmware the Mi box will display an error at the end then your box will NOT BOOTED at all . So you have to use recovery to wipe all the data or Recovery the new system again by using this method >>> Turn off device and release all the usb and hdmi connection, put the control over device, and pres home and menu buttons and hold the device with the same hand, with the other, plug power, wait for 10-20sec, then plug HDMI with your free hand (the same you plug power before...)
P/S if you are using Kingroot maybe you try to unrooted it then upgrade your latest firmware then it should be no problem without rooting the box. OK ..

i've done and using home and menu not working, just use OK and Back buttons, and no need to unplug the HDMI cable, just unplug the power cord, plug it again with the same time press the Ok and back buttons on the remote controller
Btw recovery menu wa in BI languange (Chinese and English)
