First Time At Xiaomi (and Android)

Hello everyone,

I just bought a Note 4 for my girlfriend and now I want to install a custom (a better? less spyware?) rom then the stock one.

We both really like the look and feel of the MIUI so my question is which rom you could suggest for us? I have only one requirement to it and that is that it has to be localized into german.

And I think when I have the right rom for our purpose I can just follow this guide?

Hi, I think you are in the right place for German & Xiaomi.eu is the best choice in my opinion however I would personally use the version below as it had no issues for me:

As you said just follow the guide, unlock the bootloader, install TWRP:

Once that is all done go ahead & flash Xiaomi.eu via TWRP.
