Front facing camera error

Hello. I just bought the mi max 3 global version rom (Android 8.1.0 /miui 9.6.6) and by my surprise the front facing camera is not working. I've tried almost everything.from factory reset/reboot camera cache cleaning and still can't connect to camera. Please help.

have you tried it with a different app. Open cam from app store probably? If that doesn't help try one of these fw here
