Hey guys, I own a redmi pro with a fake stable global rom.

I would like to have an official rom.
I only use the English language in my phone and need google apps.

I understand that China Dev rom would be an oke choice. But also i understand that for an .EU rom you first need to get a China Dev rom. Is this correct?

Also I would prefer not to have the bootloader unlocked. This is not necessary if I decide just to flash China Dev. Rom?

Also I am not knowledged on twrp or other recovery software, why do I need it, which kind of Twrp (zxr??) and which version, that is if I need it at all.

Also and most importantly, all flashing post were talking about windows but I will need to flash from Ubuntu. I understand that this is easier but i am not sure where the differences are.

I would really appreciate it if someone would help me through the process. I am not dumb, reasonably knowledged on Ubuntu but am a bit edgy on the entire flashing part all though I have flashed (phones) before. It is just that so many has changed since and I read about so many errors / problems and I know little about this.
And can't afford to loose my working phone.

Many thanks ahead.
