How to go back to official/original rom?

Hello.
My device is "dipper." Currently it is on latest mieu rom (MIUI 12.5) from here.

I want to install Lineage OS. To do so, I need to go "Mi 8 Global V12.0.3.0.QEAMIXM" rom. And only then Lineage is correctly installed.
However, i am trying to flash my phone back to original. But no luck.
Can anyone guide me ? I must be doing something wrong...

Yes, i need a clear guide to do this. Trying to install this but i dont have any fastboot experience..
