    Hi,

There is a pretty big problem in the official MIUI ROM on my Mi-2/16GB MIUI version: JLB4.0

My phone (Mi-2/16GB) can't determine my location via Network based location services. I guess this has to do with Baidu being the provider instead of Google in MIUI official ROMs?

Kinda makes my phone useless here in the Europe/Bulgaria because none of the weather apps etc. work. Foursquare not work after connect with WiFi/GPRS services!

GPS in Google Maps works by the way.

What can I do to fix this?

Actualy, MIUI Stabile version on Mi-2 is: MIUI JLB4.0 (Stabile Build) - (after update on first boot)!
    Howto change "NetworkLocation.apk" on /system/app/ ???

    10x with advance![IMG]

I also have the same problem.
I live in Singapore, just got my MI-2 few days ago, I noticed that the location services does not work as intended. Sometimes it shows the correct location, but most of the times were showing an invalid location or somewhere in Guangzhou, China. (which is far away from where I am).

Anybody can give a guide how to change the NetworkLocation.apk in MIUI Stable Build 5?
I heard if we can change/replace this file, location will be working normally.

    Thanks.

Install two times this fail http://android.bulfon.com/APK/LBESecV2_Su.apk , you have rebooted your phone after each install!
Then with RootExplorer, NetworkLocation.apk replace in /system/app/

Hi guys, i need help on this Network Location issue. I am also based in Singapore. However, after following the instruction below, somehow My Location Service function no longer works on my phone.

Can someone show me the link to this NetworkLocation.apk file ?
