    Hi all,
I want to share my calendar with family, but with miui 8 this option doesn't work: I created with Google Calendar, the miui calendar can see the family calendar but the appointments that one create, the other people can't see that....
    Any ideas?

Yes, sync is enabled. I can see the event both in my miui calendar and Google calendar, but my wife can't see, and so me for her events....

And you have shared the same calendar from your google account calendar.google.com to your wife?
I have done so with my girlfriend so she can see my work schedule and it works fine.
When making events you have made sure you make them to the correct calendar?
Can you and your wife see the same calendar in Calendar app > Settings > Calendar Accounts?

No I don' t share my own calendar, but I have created another calendar. I cut and paste from Google website :

You can create a new calendar and invite other people to view or edit it. When you create an event, you'll see an option to choose which calendar to add the event to.

    1. On your computer, open Google Calendar. You can't create or share calendars from the Google Calendar app.
    2. On the left, next to "My Calendars," click the Down arrow [IMG].
    3. Click Create a new calendar.
    4. Add the calendar name.
    5. Under "Share with specific people," add the email address of the person you want to share with.
    6. Under "Permission Settings," choose an option in the drop-down menu. Learn more about these options below.
    7. If someone isn't already added, click Add person.
    8. Click Create calendar.
If you shared your calendar with an individual email address, they'll see your calendar in their "Other calendar" list. If you shared your calendar with an email group , they'll see the calendar in their "Other calendars" list once they click on the link in the email invitation from Google Calendar.

Important: To get your new calendar to show up on your Android phone or tablet, you'll need toturn on sync for that calendar.

Yes of course. We can see the "family " calendar, but if I write an event with the family option, I can see it in my both calendar but my wife doesn't...

Weird! And if she makes an event to the calendar, you can't see it and also other way around?

If you are using 7.3.16 it works for me. Try to relog your google account on your devices?
