My main reason for purchase was for streaming and freeing up my laptop and getting away from the dreaded HDMI cable, my nexus 5 wasn't ideal as I hate running my battery down (being a mad keen cycling and using tracking apps)
So the mipad has been great, battery is outstanding and acestream is another level of quality no more 200kbps streams through wiziwig
The measy a2w also mirrors OK with a faster stream - looking forward to the Ryder cup stream 2moro
The apk files aren't available on the play store but google is your friend - acestream engine and torrent stream controller are your friends they work
