Hello, i have Xiaomi Redmi 3, bought from China, with MIUI 8.1 by xiaomi.eu 6.9.8 rom.
  • Android version: 6.0 MRA58K,
  • Core 3.18.22+. 2.52Ghz.
  • Chipset: Mediatek MT6797T Helio X25
After scanning fresh phone installation with Malwarebytes, i have found 1 PUP and 2 Trojans.
  • Android/PUP.Riskware.Downloader.scw in /system/priv-app/Weather/Weather.apk
  • Android/Trojan.Downloader.Agent.zh in /system/app/Notes/Notes.apk
  • Android/Trojan.Spy.SmsThief.de in system/app/FileExplorer/FileExplorer.apk
None of these is possible to remove, since these are preinstalled system apps.

So i have 2 questions:
  1. Since this rom comes already infected, is this real rom from xiaomi.eu or is it fake (how to distinguish it)?
  2. Which rom should i download from xiamoi.eu in order to replace old one? (and how to make it?).
Will be grateful for all suggestions.

It's not our ROM...

It's FAKE ROM preinstalled by shop.. Install china or global and unlock bootloader.. Then install our ROM..

Install China developer ROM. Global ROM may cause trouble while using unlock application

So far, after searching for a possible solution, i came up with the idea of flashing to MIUI 8 with SP flash tool, using fastboot MIUI 8 Global Stable ROM V8.0.2.0.LAIMIDG for Redmi 3.

What problems Global Rom can cause and what are the differences from China developer Rom? Would you suggest version 7 or 8?

Thanks for help.
