Install camera APK from weekly .EU on stable .EU rom?

Hello would it be possible to install the camera APK from the weekly .EU rom, on a phone running stable .EU rom
I'm tired of waiting.for the backscreen features,in the cameras portrait mode, since they have been in the weekly ROMs for quite a while now
