    Dear All;

    I know IMEI changing is not legal. I want to learn if there is any way to replace IMEI for Hongmi 1S wcdma.
    I will replace IMEI number of my Hongmi 1s with my old phone's IMEI number.

    I am from Turkey, Government is charging Tax for enabling IMEI numbers. If you did not buy it from official Turkey Market.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards

    On mediatek phones you should be able too. There's a tool called mobile uncle and has a option for changing imei. Not sure how well it works though. The xiaomi phones with a mediatek processor are the redmi note and the original redmi.
