K20 Pro Permium Edition stable to weekly - something different??

[K20 Pro Premium Edition]

Hello,

i just tried to flash the "WEEKLY 21.3.18 " to my K20 Pro Premium Edition.

Is there anything different with this phone, couldn't install the ROM.

.....it always boots to TWRP again.

So i went back to 12.0.6 Stable again....everything is fine again.

I'm on 12.0.6 Stable at the moment with TWRP installed and of course it's unlocked.

I also tried to install "TWRP_RAPHAEL_12.0.1.0_Global_ROM_info.zip" before and after the ROM, no success.....

Anyone got an idea......i never had problems with flashing before!?

Hello,

"Format Data" in TWRP (in "Wipe" menu => "Format Data" button) is recommended/mandatory when you switch ROM "branch" (Stable <=> Weekly).

EDIT: One important thing, you should avoid restoring " System settings" from a Google backup, when switching to Weekly ROM.

.....ah ok, tought i only need to format when i flash from weekly to stable.
I also installed the newest TWRP version, i was on 3.2.2.

Now it's running fine - thanks for your help!

I never use Google-Backup or something else - i just save my photos, music and videos....and restore them over FTP.
.....so i just synchronize contacts and calendar - that's all!
