Hi.

I don't know if my problem is normal, but when I flash the new OTA every week, Magisk is lost.

I flash again magisk.zip and the root come back.

Is this normal?

*Sorry for my English.

This is not a problem. Magisk patches boot.img (kernel). Any ROM zip has stock kernel in it. So after installing update it restores stock kernel without Magisk changes. So yes, it's not an issue. It's should work like that.

Yep, absolutely normal as @Kugumin already wrote. Just reflash Magisk every time you flashed an updated ROM and you're fine. Not a big deal.

Why does everybody apologize for his/her English? We clearly understand what you asked... :D

Thanks for replying.

Hahaha I apologize for my English because I'm not sure if I can express my ideas hahaha.
I'm learning English, but I'm not the best.
Thanks again for replying.

I flash Magisk just after flashing ROM and I don't have problems.
So, I think that is not a problem.

You should install Magisk 17.1 and after upgrade it to Magisk 18.0 into the app.
I say you this because I had problems with Magisk when I installed directly Magisk 18.0 with TWRP.
But if you install 17.1, open the app and into the app you upgrade Magisk to 18.0, you are not going to have problems.
