Hello friends

First my system: Mi 11 Ultra Global with Xiaomi.eu (latest) and Magisk (latest).

I would like to copy a MiuiHome.apk edited with MT Manager to /System/priv-app/MiuiHome/.

But the /System/ is Read Only and so I can't copy the file.

On my Mi 9 with Android 11 (Xiaomi.eu latest) it always worked.

I need this modification to increase the grid layout of the launcher to 7 x 9

I hope you can help me. I have already tried different ways:

Terminal: su and then mount -o rw,remount /system or mount -o rw,remount / (Not working, Error 1)
in TWRP File Manager: Mount System > Copy = Error 1
An attempt to create a flashable.zip failed. Too little knowledge for that

Does anyone know an easy way to copy the MiuiHome.apk to /System/priv-app/MiuiHome or another way to get the launcher grid to 7 x 9? Google does not really help me

PS: Sorry for my English....I used Deepl Translate to help.

As far as I know, there's no way to modify /system on all new smartphones, which comes with a/b structure of firmware.
Sorry for my poor English, i am Russian :)

If you want to replace a system-app you have to create a Magisk-Module

Here is an example from me.
Delete my system-folder structure and create your own (eg "/system/priv-app/MiuiHome/")
Put your apk into the system folder structure and install it with magisk
