Hi, I have recently purchased a Mi Box 3. I connected it to my Sony Bravia KDL-40EX402 LCD TV. However, very often, the screen gets pink/green randomly. Some other Android TV box manufacturers solved this problem by adding a "force rgb" option to the display settings of the box. Is there anything similar in Mi Box to solve this problem? Appreciate any suggestion.

I have a Phillips LCD TV. Having SAME problem with Mi Box3 and also used to have a Beelink android box having same problem... I bought a HDMI splittwe but did not solved. :(
On my old Beelink when I used a custom rom (with custom Kernel) it solved the problem. But I don't know how to solve this on the Mi Box... :(

The same problem with Sony KDL-BX300. Please include "Force RGB" in Screen Options Menu.

One of my TV's is a Sony bravia kdl-32bx400. I searched for a solution and bought the switcher i told you about. The image is now always normal. I bought a HDMI to VGA adapter (with a 3,5mm jack slot on it) also solves the problem, but the switcher is cheaper. The max resolution is 1080p.

I contacted Xiaomi via email. They made me reset the box. Nothing changed. Then they said there is nothing for them to do and suggested me to contact the dealer. Dealer says the same old things: Change the cable, try with different TV etc. So, it looks like we are stuck until Xiaomi takes an action.

I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter and it solved the problem. Also, you will need an audio cable 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm.

Try with 1.3 or 1.4 HDMI cables. The HDMI cable that comes with mi box it is 2.0.

Both cables were 1.4, right? Those solution worked for me. The VGA adapter also worked. Did you set the right resolution on your mi box?

One of them 1.4, the other 2.0 (the one came with the box). I might try with two cables both are 1.4.

What do you mean by right resolution?

On "definitions", you can choose your screen resolution, don't let it on "auto". If your TV is 1080p, see if it is right. Try both cables 1.4 also. Then leave your feedback...

HDMI to VGA&AUDIO adapter worked as expected since VGA signal is analog. However video signal is coupling to audio signal which cause a humming sound especially when the display is white. If the volume is high you don't hear it at all. So be careful when selecting your adapter.

On the other hand I think there should be a solution with native HDMI connection.
